Final 2000 Rankings

Another year has past, and it is time for the top ten of 2000! I know you have all been waiting for this eagerly and have barely been able to wait. Well, here it is. As is traditional, I'll start out with the statistics I give every year, then I'll give the actual top ten for the year. In the year 2000:

I received 12073 personal email messages. (Down 37% from 1999)
On average that is 1006 messages a month, or 33 messages a day.
That mail came from from 126 different addresses. (Down 15% from 1999)
The top ten accounted for 86% of the email. (Same percentage as 1999)
24 addresses made the monthly top ten
The lowest ranked monthly top ten winner on the annual list was singlemacgirl@hotmail.com (one of Rebecca Livingston's addresses) who came in at #27 for the year.
The highest ranked address that never made the monthly lists this year was renshine@yahoo.com (Reni Gorman) who came in at #21 for the year.
